Formed in 1974, the Moonlight Jazz Orchestra is an 18-piece big band which originates out of Rockford, Illinois. Performing throughout the stateline area including cities like Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison, the band has long been a favorite at public festivals and concerts as well as private parties and wedding receptions. This award-winning group has also appeared with groups including The Four Freshmen and The Temptations.

With over 400 selections in their library, the group consists of full horn and rhythm sections, performing hits from the 40's to oldies to today. With songs featuring soloists and vocalists, this is the ultimate dance band. Directed by Curt Peterson, Moonlight Jazz combines a quality musical performance with great showmanship . . . and a dash of comic relief.

To commemorate their 25th anniversary in 1999, the band recorded their first CD entitled "Live at 25", featuring some of their favorite tunes. For information, call 815-636-BAND.
